How to take a magnesium bath

It's no secret, I'm a big fan of minerals. One of the ways I teach my clients how to remineralize is through topical application. There are a number of ways and reasons to do this. 

Magnesium is the first one I recommend anyone get started with. In a recent post, I explained to you how magnesium helps to relax muscles. But it does so much more than that. 

Why Use Magnesium Transdermally?

The vast majority (if not everyone) of people today have a magnesium deficiency. Our soil has been depleted for so long, our food is too and most people do not get enough in the diet as it stands. It's also not in our water these days. Not to mention, many things easily deplete our tissue magnesium stores.

Taking oral magnesium supplements is often not enough to restore tissue levels of magnesium since we do not actually assimilate all that is ingested. So we must apply it topically to help rebuild (aka: transdermally).

How To Overcome 'Energetic Clutter' From Burning You Out

Are you getting burned out by all the things you take into your life that seem like you want to pursue but they just load up like too many plates you have to spin?

As a multi-passionate, creative entrepreneur, I've found it quite easy to let the fire of my drive and hunger consume me in a way that leads to burn out.

And I've seen this very pattern in the women I coach, as well as the students I teach.

BURNED OUT with no energy to pursue what you really want!

It starts with an excitement for what is possible. However, that excitement without boundaries or clarity can end up becoming too much of a good thing. It becomes excessive energy, TOO MUCH to carry.  Which leads to overwhelm, exhaustion and the metaphorical 'spinning too many plates syndrome'.

Why A Spring Detox Is The Best Self Care Ever

As you may already know I'm a big fan of self-care. Taking the best care of yourself in all ways, mentally emotionally, physically, spiritually is the best gift you can give yourself.

Self-care means no more putting yourself as an afterthought ladies. Self-care requires a true deep commitment to yourself and your growth.

Spring is a beautiful season and time of year to bring forth new growth. It's a higher energy time of year, a time of renewal.

Every year in the spring I notice a desire to 'detox'. I start to clear out things in my life that are no longer serving me. One big way is through taking much better care of my physical body so I can feel lighter and freer. I tend to want to choose more fresh foods, in season veggies and drink more herbal teas.

It's a great time of year to re-calibrate.

Why You Should Float in a Tank of Salt

I can still remember the first time I heard about salt float tanks, from friend Julie. I couldn't comprehend the concept of getting into a giant dark tank of salt water and just lay still in there for more than an hour. That was back when I was in hustle mode and couldn't meditate for shit.

Now that I've learned the art of zen-like behaviors, such as that of actually being still (ish), I am ALL about self-care practices like floating. My sweetie and I enjoy going to our local float place for a date night now and then to just relax and let go of stress. And we always get THE BEST sleep those nights.

It's a bit of a learning curve for some folks to fully benefit. I've found the more I go the more I can fully relax, meditate and visualize. It's a powerful space for deeper healing and benefits a myriad of things.
